Description

Timberman: The Road To The Championship

There's no story cutscene here, no dramatic voiceover setting up your quest. Just a guy, an axe, and a tree that never stops growing branches. That's the whole pitch, and somehow it works. Every tap chops a chunk off the trunk, the log resets, and the whole thing gets faster the longer you survive. No boss fight waiting at the end, no map to explore. Just you against the clock and your own reflexes, which sounds simple until a branch pops out of nowhere on the exact side you weren't watching. Miss it once and it's game over, back to zero. That sting of losing a fifty-chop streak because you blinked at the wrong second? That's basically the entire hook.

Winning Strategies

  • Keep your eyes on the top of the trunk, not your own axe animation, since that's where the next branch actually shows up.
  • Don't fall into a steady left-right rhythm out of habit — the branches don't care about your pattern and will punish autopilot taps.
  • Watch the timer bar closely; a couple quick chops in a row buy you breathing room before it gets brutal again.
  • Slow down your taps slightly during easy stretches so your fingers don't tire out before the game actually speeds up.
  • Treat every run as practice for pattern recognition — the branch spacing gets rougher, but your brain adapts faster than you'd expect.

How To Play

  • Tap the screen buttons to swing the axe left or right, whichever side is clear of branches.
  • Touch controls handle everything on mobile, so there's nothing to install or configure beforehand.
  • Chop fast enough and consistently enough to keep the timer topped up before it runs out.
  • React the instant a branch appears on your current side and switch immediately, no hesitation allowed.
  • Chase a longer streak each attempt, since the whole point is beating your own last run, not anyone's story mode.
